Q: Will trees, bushes or plants affect my build project?

A: Where foundations are required there are building regulation standards that are required to ensure the footings are deep enough to accommodate nearby trees etc. It’s important to consider that if trees, bushes, or plants are within 10 meters of the proposed build area there may be a requirement to dig deeper or have a structural engineer create “engineered” foundations like pile foundations for example. During a survey, the Stotto team will always check the area and take an opinion from our chosen building inspector and engineer at the time of providing an idea of cost to you.
