Groundworks are the solid foundation required for any building venture and are one of the services we offer. Our team of Safe Contractor registered professionals will tackle all aspects of Groundworks and believe that a good build can only be as good as the land it sits on.

They begin any new build with land clearance, making sure the area being built upon is clear and ready for construction to begin. Footings will be dug in accordance with architect drawings and it’s at this point that you can really see your extension or build taking shape. In addition to footings and foundations, Stotto can also construct retaining footings and walls should your property need them.

A key element to groundworks is storm and foul drainage; no one wants puddles forming in unexpected places. During the excavation and site preparation, drainage and external services will be kept in mind to ensure your build goes smoothly, right from the start (no one likes an unexpected surprise mid-build!)

If you’ve had an extension or a new build constructed, why not finish off the brand-new look with a new driveway. Tarmac, block, resin; it’s up to you!

Whatever your project might be, you should have the freedom to design it how you choose with all of the features you would like. If it is physically and logistically possible to do, we can do it. Even basements are no trouble!
